Can Nadal lose a set?

Currently down 4-5 in 1st set against Almagro and about to serve.

Almagro was up 3-1, but got broken back. Also had 0-30 on Nadal serve leading 4-3.

Reason I opened this thread, is of course there is a lot of markets on IF NADAL will lose one set..crazy but true.

Next game, Nadal changes raquet for the third time in the match! Then 30-40 and BP Nadal. Almagro saves it after an excellent winner, then an ace and another winner and holds to 6-5.

Nadal serves to stay in the set, after excellent pressure from Almagro 30-30.

But nadal continue to serve to Almagros backhand that makes all kind of errors 40-30. Then holds to 6-6. Tiebreaker.

Nadal will probably take the tiebreaker. Always too strong in these situations.

Nadal is soo strong, everytime he is 15-30 in his own serve, he escapes without giving away breakpoints..everytime it is 30-30, he gets the 40-30 and so on.

Very timely, Nadal breaks to 5-4 in 3rd set and serving for the set and match. So effective.

Again Nadal down 15-30 in his own serve, then the normal 30-30 and 40-30..Almagro saves the first matchpoint after a 2nd serve. Nadal refuses to give away a breakpoint, and brings up another matchpoint. This time its good, and GSM NADAL.

Melzer wont sniff a set in the semifinals. Sad if u have to ticket to that crapfest.

Soderling may get 1 off him but unlikely the way Rafa is playing. You could argue Almagro was the 3rd most in form player coming in and he couldn't even get 1 off Rafa

Rafa didn't play well today. With this level is going to struggle a lot against Soderling/Berdych.

If have Nadal not to lose a set +320 u can't lose. Melzer wont win a set. And u can bet Nadal to win 3-1 or 3-2 in the Final lock up profit. Guy isn't losing this tournament period

Nadal should blow away Melzer...but Soderling could definitely take a set. Jrod124's post is an interesting angle making a few bucks...take Nadal to not lose a set at +whatever it is and then take him to win 3-1,3-2 to cover it and make a profit either way...o - and maybe add him losing 3-1,3-2.

Nadal is playing really well right now. It'll be tough for any opponent to go up against him.
