Really only 1 womens match-up going which is Sharapova, providing she wins
here are the people whom have all 8 right.

Its funny what some people just don't learn to do their own research. One
contest user took Daventport and there were 2 other people after his entry
that just copy and pasted his entry and did little or zero switching. Those
types of people should be eliminated automatically in my opinion.

Another thing is that a few users had a Lady named S.Venus listed as their
tennis star... How SBR counts it is up to them. I gave credit for Venus Williams,
however sbr may rule different.

(All stats are 100% UNOFFICIAL as someone from sbr is running but I have a
spreadsheet on the side to track my own standings)

I am suprised to see that so many people took Henin to advance here since he was seeded 22. I had her advancing to the final 8, but i was thinking that was an underdog pick.

A few people took her to win it all.


I have a question that may seem stupid, but here goes. What if someone took Henin to win it all and someone else like Venus for second. What happens if Henin comes in second and doesnt win? Does that person get credit for the 2nd place finish since they had her finishing higher anyway?


Or if they have her finished in 2nd or 1st, do they get credit if she only finishes in 3rd or 4th

VENUS WILLIAMS loses! That hurt alot of people! If you had Venus to win or come in second, then you are virtually eliminated. I had her in 4th and I am in deep shit. My only good points are that I still have the top 2 in action and can still predict 5 of the top 8. And we do have some underdog picks that will make the top 8.


Venus losing did make it alot easier for Woziaki to advance to the final 2. So if you have her winning or making the final 2, then you are good shape there.

If you have Jankovic to make the final 4 or final 2, then you are in pretty damn good shape. If she wins tomorrow, then she will be in the final 8 and get to an unranked player in the round of 8 to advance to the final 4.

looks like I messed up by having Wozniacki and Pennetta in my final 8.

Pennetta was all the way at the top of the bottom half of one of the brackets, and I mixed it up.

I had Wozniacki over Pennetta correctly, but it happened a round earlier than I thought.
