Forgot to mention this in yesterday's thread but if you are a heavy chalk player I would be careful in tourneys prior to the start of a major like we have this week with the French Open coming up. The bigger named players that are in contention to win the majors often do not show up in the smaller tourneys prior to the big ones from what I have seen over the years. Call it what you want, saving energy, don't want to get injured, etc. just seems to always happen.

Missed out yesterday on this with Dem and Penn going down (don't know what I was thinking backing the 2 Russian dogs that looked awful) and as much as I hate Petrova and think she is a terrible player, it would not surprise me in the least if she beat Serena today.

          Iceminer,

I didn't ask the reason for your Schiavone pick, but I tailed it. Got it @ +195 close to game-time.

I hope Dulgheru isn't choking, she took the 1st set, but 2nd set isn't looking so good.

I played her because I was getting close to 2:1 on my money and feel she is a pretty solid player on the clay against a player who can be beaten on any given day on this surface. If it would have been grass this would not have been a play but on the clay at this odds I felt she was worth a shot with the surface and her current form. In the end it didn't work out but still feel it was a good play to make.

Now if I would have just taken my own advice still don't think I could play Petrova, hate her game and feel she is hit or miss.
