    Wimbledon Contests 2018 - Men's and Women's Singles

    There will be a separate contest for the men's and women's singles. This is a bracket contest - think NCAA Basketball - which starts at the First Round of Wimbledon. According to the official site, the draw will be released on June 29th and when it is I'll create two separate contest threads soon after. The first round starts on Monday July 2nd locally so you'll have until that time to send me your bracket for the entire tournament. Keep in mind that you'll be choosing the winner of each match from the first round until the final before the first match goes off so leave yourself some time for deciding your picks.

    Entry fee will be 10 points and the top 10 from each contest will be paid. SBR has generously agreed to sponsor this contest so you can pay me either in here or in the first post of the individual contest threads once they're made. Non Pros, feel free to start transferring your 2 a day now if you want.

    1st place - 2500 Betpoints
    2nd place - 2000 Betpoints
    3rd - 1500
    4th - 1000
    5th - 750
    6th to 10th - 300

    Eleven days until the draw!

    Seeing as how everyone other than two or three people across both contests used the TC software to fill out their brackets, I think what I'm going to try this time is creating a private pool over there and that's where we'll all park our entries. It still allows us to compete with the entire site but at least this way the time difference won't potentially be an issue for those who are on the forum when I'm not. I'll still post results here after every round but this will provide more real-time scoring for the entire contest and I'll just make it a condition of entry that everyone uses their software to enter. Sound good everyone?
