Serena takes the first set 6-4. Put pressure on JJ's serve the entire set, and after struggling with her first 2 service games she served much easier the tail end of the set. Tight match though and can easilly go either way.

Nobody expected Serena to make it this far, on this surface, in her first tournament back. Not many expected her to win this match, and if she lost 6-4, 6-4 I would have been perfectly ok with it. However, when you serve twice for the match and fail, and one of those times she didn't finish off an overhead smash properly it's unexcusable. Bottom line is she had the match on her racket twice, and if you count the tiebreakers, three times, and failed all three.

Williams cost me a parlay risking 25 to win almost 900. I hit all the hard legs with wins from Baghdatis+385,Querry+125,and Cilic+105 which were dogs and I also had Federer and I thought it was in the bag and she gave up late. She was up 2 games in the final set and choked. I will never bet on the Williams sisters again.

Hey TB what do you think of Isner today? I found him at 9/4.

Wawrinka didn't have an answer for Troicki's serve yesterday and really Troicki should have won but he choked. He had 2 match points in the final tie break and he was up a break in the 3rd but played an awful service game afterwards. I'm just not convinced with Wawrinka at the moment and I think if Isner serves well he should win this.

Yeah I played him big! I am so happy right now, this has to be one of my biggest earners ever. The line moved so much from yesterday. Isner went from 2/1 to 11/4. I got him at 9/4. Stan just didn't look up for it and Isner served pretty well.

This is the 2nd time I have played Isner this year at dog odds of 9/4 and both times he has come in. Definitely under-rated but that's fine by me.

Shame you missed it though. Who else do you like today?

Isner will never win a major. His height is great for giving him a big server but that's about it. He's so tall he can't move that well.

Isner has made great strides in his return game over the last 9 months. He is not somebody to count out. He's already surprising many on tour with his clay court play

yea i'm not disagreeing he will be top 10 no doubt maybe even top 5 in the future. But for him to win a slam is still going to be very tough, i mean you saw him at Australian. His serve was masterful in the win over Monfils but he just didn't have enough gas left to beat somebody like Murray
