Don't get me started on medical timeouts. To answer your question I didn't consider it for one second.

For the record this is just the second time in two years I have bet against Roddick. The other time was in Miami in March when I bet Nadal in their semi-final match and Roddick won.

not sure if you caught the stats...... but Fish completely outserved Roddick (like one would assume he would after reading your reasoning for this bet)... 17-10 aces, 91% (!!!) points one on 1st serve...

look at his serve distribution... the announcer said he never saw anything quite like it (and I believe him)

As far as Im concerned if there was no 2nd rain delay, Roddick wins it. Fish was tired and mentally didnt have it together down 5-3 and if they stayed out there he was done! When the delay happened he got some time to rest and collect his thoughts whereas Roddick had time to overthink things and when they came out the momentum totally shifted. Fish went after some points that Roddick would normally have won and that was the game changer.

Time to move on, Fed wins tonight along with Azarenka!
