Novak Djokovic vs Dan Evans Wimbledon Prediction
Novak Djokovic vs Dan Evans prediction from SBR's Gary Pearson for their 2nd round Wimbledon match on Thursday:

Pick to win: Djokovic 3-0 (-175 via DraftKings)

"Evans won his first-round match in straight sets, the first time the Brit triumphed at Wimbledon in his last four appearances.

And he has a winning record against Djokovic, which is almost as rare as someone entering the gates of Wimbledon without purchasing a Pimm's. I omitted a critical tidbit: They've only met once, four years ago when Evans was at the peak of his professional power, ranking among the top 30. His ranking has since plummeted to 154th.

The only person who can beat Djokovic in these early rounds is Djokovic himself. He struggled with a stomach illness in the opening match but recovered after taking "magical pills."

As long as he avoids any such ailments, the Djoker should win in straight sets, like he did in the first four rounds at the French Open. It's a three-star play due to the short odds."

Best prop bet: Under 32.5 games (-125 via DraftKings)

"DraftKings offers the Under on 31.5 games at -118. I prefer to take an extra game at a slightly shorter -125. Other sports betting apps didn't have odds on this market at the time of writing.

For this number to hit the Over, Evans will either have to win a set or take Djokovic to a tiebreak while remaining competitive in the other two sets.

That's a distinct possibility, and I expect this bet to go to the wire, which is why the extra game could make all the difference.

    I'm predicting a 7-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory for Djokovic, which would total 32 games."
