Not a huge upset in my book. Sharapova is a head case serving since her injury last year and it's continued to this match. I'm unsure why she didn't play a tourney before this one, would have helped immensely I think. Also goes back to the cardinal rule of tennis betting - NEVER EVER EVER EVER bet on a match involving two Russians.

Yeah no sanctioned matches for Sharapova before this tourney, especially with her serving problems seems really weird. Given this it was an upset just not a major upset as Daniela has been ranked #15 in the world.
