I know Mertens downfall is that she chokes vs the top talent, but she's currently +984 live down a set on serve vs Mugu. Not sure I can pass that up. Probably not a great bet, but the value at 10-1 is absurd. Not even down a set and break. Looks like it'll be 3-3 in the 2nd.

That aged poorly. Oh well, onto the next. Mertens held nicely, but couldn't convert on a crucial break vs Mugs.

Hold up, back in it. Saved match point and got the break. Back on serve. Was tempted at +1500, but didn't pull the trigger. Maybe we grab a set, hoping. Odds would be a great way to start the morning.

Breaks to just let me down. Two times broke Mugu to save set and goes on serve and chokes both. Can't back her anymore vs the top, sad she can never do it.

Jesus, saved another 3 match points. Tied up 5-5 in the 2nd. Hoping to force a 3rd and can hedge big time. Assuming Mugs will be like -200.

Wow, Mertens serving for 2nd. Was alot to be made on the over bets and 2nd set bets if I did. Winning 2nd set was +1300 when Mugs was going for it at 6-3.

Cmon Mertens take the set! Would be beautiful to hedge those +900s and more on a -200 opposite line.

Pipe dream. Can't close out the set, takes a 3-1 lead in TB and loses 5 points in a row.

Why can't Mertens ever be clutch outside of saving match points just to still lose a set?
