Evans played in the night session of Day 4, and had to rock up and play at midday the next day while Federer had the day off because he played on Centre Court with the roof so I imagine even with that said people thought Federer would be off despite the lines suggesting otherwise.
Gotta admit I passed either way because of that and wasn't sure how Federer would play even with that despite dropping two first sets uncharacteristically.
But reading what the players said about it, I am sure if Federer had his time again he would redo how he would say this "“You could definitely argue the scheduling was not in his favour,” Federer said. “It’s not fair for me to play my match under the roof, get it done, sit back, relax the next day while he’s battling out a three-hour match."Comment
