She wants that all time record so badly and she knows it, and everyone else knows it. So she will keep playing and hope for a lucky draw or to play some scrub in the final she can beat up on. Which is doable considering how piss weak this era has been.

unfortunately even if she wins 25 the absolute undeniable truth remains and Real GOATS don't lose and choke to Roberta Vinci when closing out slams, if she had pulled it off that year it would have been very hard to make a case against, but as it stands it was not to be.

Agreed. I think it's unlikely she retires anytime soon, but we can always hope.
