Gabashvilli +125 (Troicki)
Troicki owns a 2-0 head-2-head advantage with the last coming on clay about a year ago. That being said, I prefer the Russian in this one. Gabashvilli has run off a 10-3 record now in his last 4 clay court tourneys, including a win here at Hamburg. Troicki on clay in 2009 had some solid moments, but is still just 7-8 on the surface this season. Back in May in Round Robin action in Dusseldorf, Troicki lost on clay to Seppi. The same Seppi that Gabashvilli dispatched easily in straights in Round 1 here in Hamburg. With better recent form on dirt and several matches last week in Bastad and another here in Germany while Troicki has been off since Wimbledon ... the Russian may just have a slight edge here. Their last meeting was a 3 setter with two tie breakers, so this one seems like a pretty close match.
