Today was his last tournament, he opened at 4.33 on B365, closed at 2.25 (2.58 pinny) because the market thought he could do at least something against trash like Vilella and yet he lost by 8 games. I didn't walk into that trap, I don't trust guys who win 1 set in their last 5 matches.

Yeah I knew a golfer, and pretty sure tennis is pretty much the same. Most of the expenses, like travel, food, and clothing, in your career are covered by sponsors.
