Tsistpas barring any injuries will probably be up with the names of Djoker/Federer/Nadal one day. 10+ slams. I think hes the future, like fed was at his time

#1717You’re right to a point.... the Big four are on borrowed time... nobody should have feared Federer for years now. Murray killed his body going 80-10 in 2016... nobody could touch him or Djokovic that year.
IF djoker holds on ill be fading him vs Swartzmann tomorrow. Djoker probably wont sleep much tonight probaly a 4 or 5am bedtime
If Nadal loses again to Tsitsipas tomorrow, he'll go into hiding.
For long, the god of tennis has been scouting for successors to the big 4. He (the god) has been trying out Andy Zverev, Nishikori, Dimitrov, and Shapovalov but is frustrated with them. Hence, Tsitsipas was anointed to terrorize the big 4. Watch out for him. It won't be long before he wins a grandslam. After he wins his first slam, then the goddess of tennis might grant a slam to Sakkari. Don't forget "Sakkari" means "future champion". See what she did earlier to Mladenovic?Comment -

#1718I don't know if this is true (laugh before you read): I even heard Murray is now hiding in a cave. He doesn't want to be seen in public anymore. I also heard Federer and Nadal are planning to join him there.

If you'd permit me, I'll try to find out the meaning of "Zverev". If you'll also permit me, I'll come back and share it with you.Comment -

#1720I alluded earlier to the fact that the era of fear is gone. No one fears the big 4 anymore. Federer realized that and ran back home so as to avoid being embarrassed by Tsitsipas. You also realize Andy Murray has since gone into hiding. He hasn't been seen in a long time.
I think it’s a mix of everything, the confidence of the newer generation, their talents, but an underrated part that comes from the above is the unknown of not having played them before much. So combine that with talent and the age of these guys and you’re bound to get some upsets which is okay.
At the end of the day we ar still seeing the names of Djokovic and Nadal and Federer on these slam trophies with a few other veterans in between so until that changes significantly...Comment -

Once he won the French and all four in a row his motivation probably dipped a bit (Becker hinted as such) so it was well timed for Murray.Comment -

#1722Murray played in a whole heap of smaller tournaments to try and grab the number one ranking which worked out and was probably the last thing he could hope for with Federer and Nadal having already checked out and Djokovic having full points to defend from the previous year after his freakishly good 2015.

#1724Are we rolling with Kiki? Full days rest. Been on a tear. One of my favorites to back. -4 games is -115. They are 2-2 H2H all on hard court and decided in 2 sets. Straights could be a smaller play for Bertens.Comment -
