    Medvedev can seriously threaten Djokovic
Let's not forget Djokovic lost to Chung last year. Now he is playing an on fire Medvedev who won all his matches in 3 sets, yet Djokovic is 1.13 to win?

    Laughable.

Medvedev at 8.0, just cannot believe the odds will bet on him for sure.

Agree. Same with Berdych vs Nadal odds 6. Berdych not chanceless if he performs.

Medvedev has been playing well but they have similar games on the return side. I just watched Djokovic get pissed off and destroy Shapovalov in the 4th set 6-0 last night. It could be a long night with 20-30 shot rallys. Good luck

Djokovic still had "out of commission" status until half way through last year, though. Odds are terrible for the top three guys, but then again they always obliterate their opponents. Betting against their 30 year old bodies right now.

Going off the Chung match last year as a reason Djokovic could lose isn’t really relevant because Djokovic is 100% healthy this time and didn’t taken a six month break.
It’s no surprise he bombed out early this year when last year other then a good win against Zverev Chung really had a lucky draw and hit decent form at the right time. Look at the rest of the year to show how much of a fluke that run was.

Anyway I’m a bit skeptics backing against Djokovic as he hasn’t really raised a sweat so far, ignore the lapse against Shapovalov, the dumb organisers turned the stadium lights on in broad daylight which threw him off and he had a word to the umpire about it.
            Really shouldn’t have happened

Medvedev actually called him out in an interview, saying that he is not playing as well as in the past. And that losing to 3 next gen guys late last year is the proof.

What a stupid move. You just don't call out the big 3.. Because they'll use every single point as an opportunity, to show you where your place is.

It’s dumb because well obviously him not having played much for 6-8 months prior to Wimbledon it’s always going to be tough playing young guys without much to lose over three sets in comparison to the guys who have been around and not just Federer and Nadal who he’s played 20-30 even 40 times.

Djokovic Federer and Nadal will lose some of those matches from time to time but they’ll win the ones that matter for the time being:

At any rate, everyone seems to be performing this year. Almost all the guys remaining in the men's bracket are serious players. I think Dimitrov will be the end of the road for Tiafoe, but who knows. This could be a round of spectacular upsets.

Cilic is a better player than Bautista, but could easily win. Pouille could take out Coric. Nadal seems to be fit. It will be interesting to see him vs Fed.

I bet on Novak to win before Christmas. That mini meltdown against golden boy was unsettling.

Coric will lay the woodshed beating to pouille.

To be fair Coric vs Pouille was impossible to bet on.

Coric @ 1.32 before the start, laughable odds. On the other hand impossible to trust Pouille lately.

Speaking of big howling dogs, Tiafoe was 13 nearly 14/1 to beat Nadal and now he is nearly 16/1

No player in a QF should ever be that long

That could be a last minute play if he continues to drift, all due respect Nadal has had a cupcake schedule and it looks to be even easier with Federer out.

You would think the odds for a 3 set win to Nadal would not be as good but at -200 makes me think they think Tiafoe can put up a fight. Certainly has shown the strength and hitting to do it. Doesnt get affected when he drops a set either.

I dont trust medvedev at all. I took him to beat Federer last year when he was on a major role and the kid didnt show up at all. Hes got amazing ability but which Medvedev shows up?

Man he was close to beat Federer actually, I believe he was several times 0-15 or 0-30 on Federer's serve in the third set. Tough loss but he learns from that.

Nadal will likely be the favourite to win the tournament by the end of this match.
