i'm not sure how 90% could lose money when the heavy chalk federer won, and i think a lot of people in the states were betting on another williams sister final.

there was money on nadal and there were probably quite a few brits on murray but i would guess more people in the u.s. were winners on wimbledon than losers.

Tennis is like any other sport, eventually they are going to get it all from you.

I would never ever bet anything but a grand slam event

Regular tourneys can be unpredictable and players take so many weeks off and just show up and lose in 1st or second round for various reasons like injuries, tired, other commitments, ect but show up to keep in good graces with sponsors and some get appearance money.
