It doesn't get any more basic than this. Youzhny is retiring and this is his home tournament. Basic is just dead weight with his horrible recent form.

Basic overachieved earlier this year.. he should be ranked 125-175ish... Im hoping youhzny will have one final good week.

Any news on why he's doing so horribly lately? I kind of felt bad for him in this match. He hasn't won a set in his last 9 matches and went to a tie-break in this one, which he lost.

His opponents have all been much better than him rank wise... like i said hes not a true 70... hes more like low 100’s.... his opponents have all been top 50 quality. His serve is also suspect.
