DG can I get your insight into the Bedene pick? I haven't followed Orleans, how is he looking?

Bedene was in poor form coming in... with his Rank being 78 he could want to improve on it. Hes going to want to string a few wins together. He was ok vs Lestienne. Stakovsky looks somewhat motivated this week. He beat halys who was in good form coming into Orleans. My issue here is Bedene has zero points to defend. If he wins the first set he probaly rolls stak. If he loses set 1 he may just pack it in early

Yes... i said in other threads so many matches are fixed. I cant prove it however, the writing was on the wall after the 1st set. Cuevas Ranked 65 with no points to defend. He threw Giraldo a bone like i thought would happen. Giraldo needs the points

Just look at the odds prematch. It will atleast give you a chance. Giraldo was +175 yesterday prematch. He was 0-5 vs Cuevas even though Cuevas’s form has been suspect he should have still been +300 minimum

Delbonis owns Dutra Silva 4-0.... however Neither guys have any points to protect here. Watch the first set, odds are slightly lower than they should be. Estrella had champion points to defend here yesterday but Delbonis decided to kick his ass anyways. Delbonis may just Roll Dutra again

No problem. Points defermine your ranking throughout the year. For example Estrella wonthis tournament last year, i think he recieved 50 points.

ATP Granslam winner= 2000 points recieved
Masters 1000 winner = 1000 points
ATP 500= 500 points
ATP 250 = 250 points

most challenger tournaments the winner recieved 100-50 points depending on the tournament. Its alot of points to guys ranked between 150-300ish

That is a tricky match... the Fact that Ebden beat Thiem at a master 1000 then followed it up with a huge win tells me hes in great form. Hes 1-0 vs Gojo. They both have very similar games. I would have to take Ebden. Ive never seen him with these types of wins
