Yeah but he just got the actual punishment a few days ago.
He's 25 or 26 years old so his careers basically done like it should be.

Ive bet and seen live this mug pissing away points and games as if it was on purpose like this year and last year but they got him for stuff years before. 6 years seems harsh, rankings go up to over 1000 Im sure others do the same stuff Im still waiting on more guys getting caught at least some of those challenger guys toiling on the circuit making only about 800-1k to get to a semi I know some of those guys are cheating, I cant really blame them though lol.

Hes lucky if its only 6 years.... ive seen alot worse

My buddy has been a travelling challenger/futures player for quite a few years now. He's in the top 500.
His family is loaded so he never has to sweat it but he said if you don't come from money you can't go more than a couple years playing then have to give it up.
So yeah obviously there's tons of tanking in tennis, the key is making it look good. Kicker was awful at it.
They're going to change the way all those challenger circuits are ran soon.
Gonna have it more like leagues/sections so you don't have to travel all over the world to try and make it with no money.

That would be good last I heard it costs about 100-125k a year just in travel expenses to be on main tour.

Has to be way higher than that if you have a team/coach.
Most players ranked 50-300 who you see wearing certain sponsored clothing don't get paid a penny. They just get the free clothes/shoes.
Very few actually getting incomes from it like people think.

Speaking of which kinda random but Federer left Nike officially this week for now.
UNI-PLO has an offer on the table 10 years $300 million to sign with them.
Feds camp said Nike has to do way better than that after pissing him off recently.
