Wozniacki vs Wozniak: A Battle of The Wozzi's
Or, a battle of beauty and the beast.

    Caroline "Big Time" Wozniacki

    vs

    Alexandra Wozniak

Wozniacki's focus has been incredible thus far in Eastbourne. Aside from dropping the 2nd set against Aussie Samantha Stosur, (which she responded to by delivering a 6-1 spanking in the decider), she has been lights out having not dropped another set.

She is coming into this match off an inspired backhanding of Makarova, as is fellow Wozzi with a 60 61 demoralization of an opponent so pathetic I struggle to recall her name typing this (That's right, the Dushinva girl that benefited by Nadia Petrova retiring while up a set).

Wozniacki was so focused that after her ass whipping of Makarova earlier she attended Agniezska Radwanska's match with her father who is also her coach to scout out Radwanska's game (knowing in all likelihood their paths would cross in the finals). Instead, the pathetic Razanno prevailed but the fact that Wozniacki was already prepared for this finals shows you that anything short of a freight train wouldn't derail the Beautiful Dane.

At -376 this bet is one I will be investing heavily and fully expect the bet to be cashed in under 90 minutes as the superior athleticism, class, skill, and self confidence of the equisitely beautiful Dane will prevail. The hottie should not figure to break too much of a sweat, although not many punters who happen to be watching the ongoing match would complain as her clothes begin to get damper and damper.

At -376 this is a play that I will be wagering 5 and a half units on and I will also be matching this wager on the first set's outcome.

Can't give you shit for this one, even I passed on the juicy dog. Still, rooting for the local girl. Go Alex!

It looks like the Beast is ahead. Could this be another big chalk loss by Lou?

So he already lost 5.5 units on the first set bet and needs a miracle comeback not to lose another 5.5

Got to figure the Dane's superior athleticism and stamina might shine in the decider.

Wozniak is not bad looking either. Watching the game now on tennis channel and she looks like an 8 to me. Why do you say she's a beast?

                          You lost a bundle on the first set, ClownyLou. -5.5 units * 3.76 = -20.68 + 5.5 units for the match = -15.18 units

Unless you didn't really bet either play. Which would explain why you don't acknowledge being down.

I was assuming those units were risk units Matty.

But yes Lou, Wozniacki won, but lost the 1st set, meaning youd be down about 4 units.

I'm merely stating Wozniacki prevailed, so when analyzing the outcome of the match, though a net loss the better player (and right pick) won.

Are you suggesting her first set loss made the entire play -EV?

I don't think the result says much at all about the expected value of the play. To say you had the right side on a play that lost 6-3 in the first set and netted you negative four units is a pretty bold statement.

CrazyLou is a pupil of Nicky Santoro. Nicky had Yankees at -280 yesterday when the line closed at -320. He beat the market but the Nationals beat the Yankees ass. In both men minds they are both winners.

I had EV at closing on both bets by beating the market average and beating Pinnacle, which means that stretched out over a long sample size I will win more than I lose by placing the same bets I did today.

I'm sure you can grasp that.

That was 2 bets, ClownyLou. Congrats. Why do you not keep a record, ClownyLou? Maybe because the market pisses all over the majority of your picks and you'd be exposed as a huge loser, which is immaterial to you because all you're trying to do is to "pick winners"?
