I'm leaning towards Nadal and could use some outside opinions to help make the final decision. Does anyone have a strong lean either way on this match?
Any thought on the Shanghai final this evening? Nadal/Fed

#5Fed has become superman at 36 years old, after looking done 4 years ago. Doesn't take a genius to figure out what's going on there.Comment -

It's pretty obvious that Federer has completely changed the way he plays. He is being more aggressive now than at any point in his career and his backhand has become much more consistent. He's not running around it. He kept getting inside his own head.
The best part was when you said Federer looked "done" 4 years ago.
So getting to the finals every year, mutliple times a year but losing means your done?
I guess that Kyrios, Dimitrov, Goffin, Isner, Tsonga -- all these clowns should just retire because they're "done." They certaintly weren't making any finals, ever. And won't be.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

2014 he had slam losses to Gulbis and Cilic, 2015 to Seppi.

In 2014, he lost to Gulbis in 5 sets in Roland Garros, which was always his weakest surface. And Gulbis was having a great year back then, he finished 17-5 on clay and beat Berdych in straight sets the next round. He lost to a God mode Cillic in the US Open, the same tournament in which Djokovic lost to Nishikori. Cillic was playing lights out that tournament, did you even watch it? Oh and since Djoker lost in the semis as well, he was "done" too, right? Oh wait, he won 3 slams the next year. Twice beating a "done" Federer in 2 tough matches.
Seppi loss was weird, but hey, so was Murray's loss to Mischa, Djoker loss to Istomin and Nadal's loss to Pouille/Fognini and whatever on grass.
