Just a wild guess, I will put little free money on it...

Schiavone is 36 years old and she will be retired after this season. She won all the previous rounds without dropping a set, she has beaten no.1 and no.3 seed already. It seems like this trophy is a gift for her in her final season. WTA always likes to make this kind of headline.

This tournament is "interesting" anyway, Arruabarrena won the semi-final from 0-4 down in final set, ripping 6 games in a row to win the match.
Therefore, I am happy to put a little free money on Schiavone handicap +1.5 games @ 1.934 (-107)

It seems like Arruabarrenas fav thing to do this tourney is give each of her opponents a 4 game head start in at least 1 set per match then claw back to win.

Thats a great price on Schiavone though. I didn't touch it. I've been finger blasted raw so far through Bogota.
