Such a disgrace to tennis, both players wanted to retire after just 1 game in Hobart. (because they want to enter AO qualifying.)
This is the first time I have ever seen such thing.
I wish Vickery will be ripped in the 1st round of qualifying.

Yeah, this isn't new. You shouldn't be able to play slam qualis the same week as a main tour event, it's blindingly obvious this will end up happening.

I was watching the same thing before the French, Martincova vs somebody. Wins first set 6/1, gets to tiebreak, and then the most blatant tank you'll ever see - not even any pretense of trying, barely moving, loses it and the third 1/6. Unsurprisingly, she turns up in slam qualifying a few days later.
