    Roddick v haas
Rates on roddick are high(1.50) for a player ranked 6th in the world.Maybe cos it is expected that he might do a roger federer and loose early on like fedex did at monte carlo after his marriage.Plus its his first clay tourney of the season and he hasnt played for over a month.Haas won both their previous clay clashes but they were before 2006 and haas has faded since then.

I think advantage shud be taken of the high return on this game cos haas is no wawrinka and has recently lost to virtually unknown players like kukushkin etc.

putting all my daily profit on this one and safina

I was going to post something about this one. I agree with you here, you won't get odds on Roddick like this often. His long layoff is the reason of course and this being his first clay court match in 2009. He could struggle in the 1st set to find his game and adjust to the surface perhaps, but he has all the game in the world to beat Haas. Haas isn't anything great on clay and honestly, he is lucky to be playing still as he almost totally choked against Ernest Gulbis last round. Gulbis has been horrible this year, so that tells me anything less than Haas' absolute best today and Roddick - even rusty - can get through. -160 at my book.

Arod sucks dick on clay. I'd rather back the dog. Either way, no play.

Andy has actually won 65% of his clay court matches. I don't know that it's fair to say he sucks on the surface when he plays maybe 6 matches on the surface per year. It's fair to say he would prefer not to play on it, but he's had some success specifically at the Rome & Houston events. Don't get me wrong, I don't think he's going to win a clay court event or go far at the French, but he can certainly beat Haas in his current condition if he finds the surface agreeable enough. Tips seem to indicate this is a faster clay anyhow.

5-0 Haas, some lackluster performance by Roddick.

IF and big IF Roddick gets his serve cranked up finally, still got a shot. Haas had Gulbis down two breaks and a set in the 2nd and managed to go 7-5 in the 3rd, so he can always F this up.

Thank god, Roddick serving much better now, hoping for a tie-break (or a break, but the latter one is pretty much impossible with Roddick's short groundstrokes).

Had two break opps at 4-3 with Haas serving, couldn't do it. Looks destined for a tie break. Still hoping Haas can give it up here late to avoid that drama.

Two set points with Haas serving at 4-5 and Roddick couldn't close it out. Sheeshkabobble.

Roddick is playing much better now. Think, if he wins the second, he wins it all, can't imagine Haas playing at such a high level for that long.

Breaker breaker. A-Rod up 4-3 and SERVING now. Finally broke Haas.

                                  And Roddick does it.

Haas is done, played a great match against an opponent who was clearly out of shape and still lost.
