I really don't understand what's going on with Djokovic, just like a completely different player...
Is that all scripted or not? I really can't believe he can fall as horribly as this, compared with what he achieved last year, played in a God-mode.
Murrary keeps winning title after title, and Djok just keeps losing and losing. Murrary is in the final again, so he will probably grab another 1000 points tomorrow.

"Winning the French Open this year has brought a lot of joy to me but on the other hand has taken away a lot from me, as well.

"I felt a little bit exhausted, I must say, and maybe less motivated. So I had to kind of rediscover that feeling of being on the court and keep pushing myself."

Some say he's nursing a knee injury. Some say he has personal problems.
Maybe Murray paid him a massive bribe (lol) to let him (Murray) get the No.1 spot.

Actually, can I ask, in tennis we always talk about ranking, but is there really a huge difference between No.1 and No.2? I mean, Murray is a well-known tennis player already, he is getting different kinds of income from endorsement already. Is there really a huge difference to him if he gets the No.1 spot?(except that this may be a dream to every player)
Same to WTA, always talking about the No.1 spot between Serena and Kerber. Is there really a huge difference between No.1 and No.2?

I wanted to ask this question long time ago already

Not huge but there are differences in:
            1) How much they get paid in invitational bonuses
            2) Preferential scheduling (court and time of day) in major tournaments
            3) Being No.1 for the first time boosts your endorsement prospects.

              Murray #1

              My theory is
              1. Novak is focused on his family, and kid
              2. His level was very high, and its difficult to sustain
              3. He won the french which was a career defining victory, and his level dropped since then
              4. Novak played poorly when the surface changed from, grass or clay, he didnt play
              any grass tourneys before wimbledon
              5. minor injuries

you dont guys dont know what that game are doing for your health. It isnt chessgame. You are travel tourney to tourney-no rest time
Federer was very efficient player to avoid any injuries. Nadal,Murray,Nadal all are baseline players-lots of running
Motivation issues-Djokovic have won over 100m+family+french open+lots of grand slams
So i think Djokovic are doing comeback when Murray are spotlight. BTW Murray is 29 quite old and im sure he will fade next. Im suprised Murray are quite good today

                  You lose interest sometimes

Who cares about these petty masters tournaments. Maybe Djokovic is just done with ranking, number 1, playign all this tennis all the time. Federer figured that out a long time ago. Fed stepped aside and was like "here you go Novak, take these tourneys while I focus on the majors."

Majors are all that matters to one's career. Djokovic already accomplished everything there is to accomplish as the number 1 player in the world. Needs to learn to manage his schedule now and rest his mind and body like Federer does.

Djokovic will still beat Murray majority of the time in the majors for next 4 years imo. All these other clowns that try so hard in these other tournemnts never do shit in the majors. They will be forgotten.
