An upset in far away Japan
    Sakkari ML (+155)

In the city of Tokyo, in the country of Japan, an upset is brewing in the womb of time. Miss Maria Sakkari, daughter of a former pro tennis woman, is about to beat Putintseva.
By the WTA rankings, Putintseva is the deserved favorite. But a cursory examination of their records would suggest Sakkari actually has the edge. And by the way, Sakkari is one player who treasures the underdog role. Recently, she beat Lucic-baroni as a +175 underdog and Goerges as a +200 underdog. Let's back her tonight and fatten our bankrolls.

You've been good with these dog calls last few days.

        Missed it but good luck.

Lucic-Baroni is trash. She just lost yesterday to a qualifying player in Quebec. Largest upset in the history of that tourney. Danielle Lau beat her as a +586 dog.

Lucic-Baroni had been seeded 3 in that tourney. Loses to a player ranked 350 in the world playing her 3rd match in 3 days.

is it still a go as far as the play is concerned? sakkari is 1-5 on this surface, but i tailed without even looking into the details of the match.

I'm guessing your stat isn't counting qualifying matches? She did pretty good at New Haven, beating Watson, Lucic-Baroni and Giorgi before losing in the first round.

You can get her live right now +450 down 0-3

probably worth a swing- got to 30 points in each of first three games

                      maybe worth a $100 or 2

It's ok. It's called gambling for a reason. It could have been our day on another night.
