Who is on Halep +345 tonight?
Man that woman is tough. Let's put it this way, if you're not on Halep tonight, you have to be on Serena, right?

I I think the line gives this one away a bit. Now down to +325 as I type.

Halep is is a human backboard and maybe Serena unwinds a bit mentally here, starts missing that 1st serve and spraying errors. Halep's second serve is what gives me pause.

Any takers / big swings tonight from this clairvoyant group?

She doesnt have a chance. What youre betting on is that Serena has a horrible night. Will be no evidence of a backboard tonight, too much pace. Also Halep gets tired in matches. Only thing she has that could effect Serena is angles on her shots, but she cant hit at those angles when she's chasing balls. I was surprised the match opened in the -3's, I hopped on Serena.

This is where I thought this thread would go. Very good, Serena it is, and at a discount.

        thanks for input

Halep is having an unbelievable season. I'm on Halep +5 game handicap. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Halep takes a set.

errors the only possible derailment for Serena.
and who can put $ on that ?

Serena would be top 50 on the men's tour. It's not even fair having her on the girls tour.

Well, in her prime she would have been. At over 30 she's probably too slow now

                          Serena with 28 unforced errors.
                          Halep only 10.

Only reason Serena is in this is due to all her aces.

Serena may lose this. 34 unforced errors to only 11 for Halep thru the first 2 sets. She's playing like ass.

I have seen Serena live a few times(even in her prime) and I go to the odd future events(bet point betting as it can be miles behind) jtoler is provably right Serena would struggle for top 500 in mens tennis.

But I don't see why people bring it up as there like different sports

Halep is playing way better tennis than Serena tonight. The only thing Serena has is her serve. When Halep returns it and it gets to volleying back and forth, she is playing superbly better tennis. Serena keeps hitting the ball into the net.

Looks like Halep is wearing out. She played great for the 2nd set at least.

                                      You're way off.

Serena would not even be top 500 at this point.

Serena has tried beating men and couldn't.

Another event dubbed a "Battle of the Sexes" took place during the 1998 Australian Open[29] between Karsten Braasch and the Williams sisters. Venus and Serena Williams, aged 17 and 16 respectively, had claimed that they could beat any male player ranked outside the world's top 200, so Braasch, then ranked 203rd, challenged them both. Braasch was described by one journalist as "a man whose training regime centered around a pack of cigarettes and more than a couple bottles of ice cold lager."[30][31] The matches took place on court number 12 in Melbourne Park,[32] after Braasch had finished a round of golf and two beers. He first took on Serena and after leading 5–0, beat her 6–1. Venus then walked on court and again Braasch was victorious, this time winning 6–2.[33] Braasch said afterwards, "500 and above, no chance." He added that he had played like someone ranked 600th in order to keep the game "fun."[34] Braasch said the big difference was that men can chase down shots much easier, and that men put spin on the ball that the women can't handle. The Williams sisters adjusted their claim to beating men outside the top 350.
An 18 year old 4th ranked Serena Williams claimed she could compete with men in professional sport; the US Open champion believing she could take on and beat the best players in the men's game. Nothing ever came to be from this claim.[35]
