It's 2016. Can't any of these tournaments have a roof now?

Public interest on the decline as well over the years.

There are games in MLB everyday with no issue yet a handful of tennis tournaments in shit countries and they always get rained out.

I hope eventually it rains for a week straight and the tournament would get cancelled

Thankfully there is a roof so there is a bit of live tennis on, frustrating but that's what it is, the plan Is to have everything apart from the show courts to have a roof so the main three or whatever it is.
Centre Court at Wimbledon is just the most perfect and beautiful tennis court in the world, can't get enough of it, so much prestige and rich history and some amazing matches having been played on it
