As I mentioned in my previous thread on Basketball, winning bets till the game is over is too difficult preposition in this volatile betting market.. You need to have an account on exchange bookmakers like Betfair ( the one I am having) where you have the option of CASH OUT at any stage of the game else its a DEATH TRAP if you wait till the end for the result to go in your favor, as you know a lot changes up side down in these games..
Even though My bet lost, I ended up winning a sizeable amount by Cashing out when Gimeno was 5-5 and serving in the final set..
This is what I have been doing for some time with net positive gain in tennis bets:
1) If you back Underdog and he/she wins the first set, just CASH OUT after 1st set itself for booking profit on both players.. If underdog loses the first set, wait till he/she comes back in the game by winning the second set and then exit or its all over for you..
2) If you back heavy Fav ( odds below 1.5), and he/she wins the first set, wait till they advance in 2nd set and odds drop to 1.1/1.09 and then CASH OUT.. Pls don't wait till match is over to cash your bet..
3) In case 2 above, if the player you back loses the first set, have patience and wait till they come back in the match by winning the second set and then hope for them to take a good lead in 3rd set and CASH OUT when odds drop to 1.1/1.09 for your player..
4) If you back Moderate Fav ( odds between 1.5 to 1.99), again CASH OUT after he/she wins the first set.. In case they lose the first set, have patience and hope they win the 2nd set.. Once 2nd set is won by your player, odds will be back to where it was for your player ( or might be slightly better), so just CASH OUT at this time( with some profit as odds are better now) and don't wait for the Final set outcome.. There are only 50-50 chances for them to win the third set after losing first, so lets play SAFE and exit after 2nd set is over..

I know Betfair doesn't allow Americans to hold account on their exchange and its a pity.. Simply throwing away your money to these blood sucking bookmakers is not the way these tricky games are played..

Due to stringent betting regulations in States, There are not many exchanges offering membership to Americans.. Whatever I googled so far has resulted in negative so far though I will keep checking for you..
Even if you are not able to find an exchange, at least try to find a book who offer online in-play bets while games are ON , that way you can always find a formula to back/lay both players to GREEN OUT at any stage of the game..
