Ugh, this tournament is such a freaking joke at times, at least both halves of the draw get disadvantaged if the weather continues, at this rate there will be a Monday final...
can we just find another venue that has a roof for the time being?

All play stopped again except for Granollers-Thiem, which they are waiting for the first set to finalize. They will be there for a while soaking wet, Thiem sucks at closing sets.

Accuweather forecasts it'll be pouring throughout most of the day with a few hours of cloudy weather so it's difficult to know. They may start and stop a few times I guess otherwise their schedule will be busted. not to mention the quality of play and player concentration.

I think we shall see retractable roofs and floodlight next year. Should have been implemented years ago. French are so backwards

Unlucky for Radwanska and Halep that they are playing against opponents playing at their best when they are fresh, contrary to most players who start slow and build up. They still can salvage if they come back from the dressing room swinging.

That depents.. She totally overmilked Stosur's weak backhand from get go, Stosur makes less errors when she's fresh. Combined with Halep's habit of slow starting, she lost the set.

Key to beating Stosur is to play deep, keep her at the baseline and no short balls so she cannot move inside the court down to service box for that inside-out forehand winner
