ATP.......
BERNARD TOMIC -255
I know risking a lot to have little return but I see this being an easy winner.
Risking 510.00 to win 200.00....

22nd player in the World vs 650th and line is only -255? Should be -600 or higher. Something fishy going on here

Why are you so confident in Tomic on clay? When I was looking through the card that match caught my eye initially but then I looked into it a bit more and Tomic is really bad on clay. He's only made it out of the 1st round twice at Roland Garros before. I want to bet it too cause it's a top 20 player versus a 600 player but I'm skeptical with Tomic's past results on clay. So what's your angle on that match?

Nothing fishy, Tomic sucks on clay. He's lost in the 1st round @ Roland Garros 4 times before. He admittedly doesn't care about the clay court season. I want to bet it too just based on the fact it's a top 20 versus a 600 but idk man. http://www.smh.com.au/sport/tennis/b...22-gp16om.html

If that was the case, perhaps the value would be on overs? I doubt Tomic would want to get smashed 3-0, and his record on clay combined with the fact that BAker used to be alright on it before his time off means that he'll probably at least grab a set.

So how do we bet this one then, games over or sets over? Baker actually beat Malisse in straights and took Gilles Simon to to a 5th set in 2012 the last year he was healthy and played @ Roland Garros. He's won some smaller clay court titles too so he knows his way around the clay court unlike Tomic. This match is honestly a big mindf@#k for me. I can see both angles and the case for either player winning. Baker is back from injury and hungry to advance the rankings and upset some people and Tomic is poor on clay but at the same time Tomic admits he needs to improve on his clay performance and he said he wants to at least make the 3rd round this year @ RG and Baker isn't used to playing top 20 caliber players. So idk? I like hearing people's angles though so fire away.

Despite what everyone things, I do think Tomic will actually try for at least a little bit. You can't be a top twenty player and then tank just like that. I get the feeling that he's going to go out and give it a real crack. I think maybe his first set handicap could be a good option, or his handicap overall. First set is currently $1.80 on sportsbet, and line is -4.5 at around $1.72 or -5 at probably $1.9.

Forgot to mention, his 1st set games handicap is -1, and that's not bad value for $1.80.

Good call on Tomic. I missed out on the easy winner cause I was skeptical given his history on clay. Who's he play next round? He might be fade material going forward if it's anyone decent.
