Good start to the thread cashing all bets so far. Unfortunately, as Klizan retired towards the end of his match with Taro Daniel, it resulted in the selection being 'void' which is frustrating considering technically the bet was a winner after the opening set. However, some good performances from Fratangelo, Mannarino, Chardy and Thompson today resulting in a positive start to the thread. I will update my record shortly and post my selections for tomorrow. 👍

Some books will pay out if you quote the rule book.
                          +2.5 sets = to win a set
                          Therefore you won

on the "to win just one measly set" bet...there's usually at least (but often no more than) one shot for your side to take a set...so whole bet comes down to how the set-points played out, right then and there, cuz you know they're not likely to get themselves in as good a position as this in the match again...

estrella had his more-than-one great shot to win that second set, but the coin-flip we bought (that was priced as if it were weighted 52.4%/47.6% in our favor), unfortunately came up on the thin side...

fascinating but maddening hobby this gambling is!

Which books ? Serious books specifically say that if retirements happens all bets are void except ML (at some books) and 1st ML, if that first set was played out. Show me a book that would budge on this question.
