Good luck on this one, but I'm all over Pouille @ -185. Why you might ask? Well, Mahut doesn't play clay surfaces hardly at all. It's his worst surface & he has said many times he particularly doesn't like playing on it. Last year he did well on clay going 3-3 for the year. In 2014 he was 2-6 on clay. In 2013 he was 1-5. He simply doesn't do well on clay bec he likes to serve & volley and the returns on clay have too much time to set up quickly on the first shot. So he stays back & that is not his strength at all. He has ALSO lost 4 of his last 5 matches overall so his form is not solid right now.
On the other hand, Pouille lost to Simon in quarters in think in Miami beating GGL, Ferrer, etc.. He is playing very well. He loves clay. I think he was 15-7 on clay in 2015. He also has revenge on his mind for losing to Mahut on hard court a month ago in two breakers. Gonna be LP for me @ -185. Just looks like a good play to me.. BOL..Comment -
