      Good hit man!!
Thiem played a really good set. That single handed backhand is so good. He generates good top spin and he can flatten it out to.

        Thanks!
Yeah, I think one of the concerns was if the one handed backhand would hold up against Rafa's topspin- so far so good!

How many times is Thiem not going to go cross court at the net? Every time he plays to the same side of the court that Nadal is already on, and fails

I saw this earlier but passed. I wanted to fade Nadal after seeing him in his last match but just couldn't pull the trigger.

              Nice call!

Alright, alright. Solid performance by Big Dom. One to watch at Roland Garros!

Nadal is for sure never getting his `La Decima´, his 10th Roland Garros win. He struggled against Juan Monaco who just came of an injury, struggled against a 34 year old challenger player(Lorenzi) in the first set and now loses against Thiem.

He just makes so many UE's, something he did not do in his prime years on clay.

I've seen where he's ranked 5th in the world and his best surface is clay. Looks like a good fade in the right spot when he's playing on another surface.

The days of Nadal and Ferrer dominating on clay are over. They're both too old and worn down to grind like they used to.

To lose only a half step is major considering the way they both play. Djokovic and Murray will probably fall off a cliff at some point as well.

Federer is not as good, but still playing like a top #2-3 player. Talent doesn't go away and Federer is the most talented Tennis player ever.

This is the last year that Nadal or Ferrer will be in the top 10.
