No, Pov is the one person Serena tries to beat as badly as she can, never lets up and always super focused. I think she said to herself a long time ago that she will never lose to Sharapova at least she plays like it against her. Better to look at over/under, props etc.

Pova took a lot of chances in the last match on her second serve and it paid off. A lot of second serve aces. Will not happen against Serena. Look for a load of double faults under pressure. She has zero chance of winning in my book.

Can't help but smile at the assertion that Giorgi lost the match b/c she was overhitting the ball. The only way you can play with Serena is by hitting the ball deep and going for the lines. Any short ball, and Serena hits a winner. Giorgi played a great match, although Serena was a bit rusty. Maria will likely be going for the lines too. Don't blame her for the UEs.

Been 11 and a half years since the last time Pov beat Serena, over that span Serena is 17- 0 against her. In those 17 matches there has been 37 sets played, Maria has won 3. With that said, its all about now, personally I dont have the greatest grasp of how either is exactly playing right now, good luck to you guys.
