Serena might come out too relaxed, like she did vs BMS. She was fully focused vs Keys b/c she knew Keys can beat her. But yeah, Vinci's serve should provide a good target practice for Serena.

45mins is quite a long time for such a scoreline btw.

I actually think Vinci can keep it as a one break per set scoreline like she recently did in Toronto. I've actually found that Serena tends to struggle a bit against players that take pace off the ball and her unforced error count goes up. Vinci's slice could be handy I am thinking like it did in Toronto. Niculescu, who slices everything forehand and backhand has given Serena trouble before but her serve got destroyed otherwise it would've been closer. Vinci's serve isn't as bad so could keep it competitive.

Serena in Toronto and Serena in the semis of US Open is a big diff. Vinci is a gamer but this is her first Slam semis too. Anyhoo, this is a garbage line. You are basically betting on how motivated Serena will be.

Ideally Serena should win like 6-2 6-2. But i should be very cautious betting Serena -5.5 games or so. Serena always enambles opponents breath when she isnt motivated...
But usually Serena is motivated semifinals and finals and has pretty good statistic to support that fact
I think Serena takes 2-0 sets, but i dont know about the lines. Market are quite clever last days

Serena hasnt give a set to Vinci
Serena is usually motivated late stages GS
I can see some value perhaps under 18.5 games or 2-0 sets

Thought about taking the Under, then thought Vinci could get Serena up to a 7-5 or 7-6 set that she would eventually lose? So thought about taking the Over, but after looking at odds just going to stay away.

Under 17.5 is -102, then Under 18.5 is -145... Seems like they really think it lands right around or at 18... 6-4 6-2 final my guess, but stayin away.

the over thought is Serena is a little distracted after the match against her sister, and Vinci is crafty enough to pull 6+ games our of her arse

Vinci will not give her a good match. Serena would have to fall down, break her ankle and play on one leg for her to have a chance.
