also on the +3 saw mak play last match and wasn't TOO impressed.. haven't seen Mladen all tourney or possibly ever but she's a big girl I imagine she can hang with Mak's power. i think this one goes 3 sets

Notes:
1) Kiki won the first set in each of their last 2 meetings even though she lost both. I think she can win the first set here and go on to win the game.
2) Makarova's fitness is questionable.
3) Makarova, like Cibulkova, tends to win as a dog and lose as a favorite. Thus, I doubt Makarova can win back-to-back as a favorite.
