Have you ever played tennis in humid conditions? It's not that hard to get dehydrated and cramp up. He also played doubles yesterday with singles the day before. I had money on him but I feel worse for what he lost.. I'm sure it means a lot to him being one of the top u.s. players playing at the US open, especially being up 2 sets to 0 at one point.

Sock was out of it at the end of the 2nd set despite winning it. He had a long doubles match the day before and his 1st round match the day before that which seems to have taken its toll.

Think they need to do something about the heat issue though as it has been a massive factor this year and also last. So many retirements after 2 rounds with cramp and heat issues. Last year Johnson had a similar incident to Sock and Shuai Peng looked like she was going to die and she hasn't been the same since.
