not sure whats' going on. they were drying off the courts and the rest of the night looks dry, but then the stepanek game just dropped off live score. maybe they are going to move that to tomorrow and just play the night matches

Hope so. And yes they just updated schedule. They are playing stepanek then the other singles match and canceled the later doubles match. The court is almost done it looks like.

Schedule on ATP website. And just the live feed. Courts look ready. I think they will be coming out soon to warm up.

What you mean it's the best case scenario. He's old, he gets huge breaks, and doesn't allow vasselin to get into a rhythm. He comes back at 40-40 same start like end of set 2

A lot harder to come out serving good after breaks. Hence why most big names choose to return to start matches to jump on a quick break.

This place is small potatoes. Their courts have no draining mechanism, and they were literally using towels to dry the court for an hour before the last break. They could have spent $50 on a tarp and resumed the match much quicker.

I'm sure they can squeeze it in, but I wouldn't be surprised if they called it. Most of the fans are gone, and it will be an extra little incentive to help sell more tickets tomorrow. This is a pathetic tournament and I don't really see their motivation to get this going tonight.

Really a good tip. I bet on another match yesterday, which continues today. With new energy and new motivation in players, a tennis game can change completely, apart from it being very annoying.
