Gilles Simon really didn't play strong vs Wawrinka.
It is possible that his neck injury was bothering him, I thought
he was past it but bet small because you never know esp in a slam
if recent injuries will make you not up to level. For ex Sharapova
was sick and I didn't know that. Simon was not up to level,
that was plain watching the match.
Today's weather is coolish and overcast. Not really seeing a setup for a Stan upset,
remember Stan is 2-18 vs RF. Stan doesn't have the adaptive skills or strategy
RF has. Let's face it, the odds are only this low because people think RF is an old man.

Yep this is why I tried to bet on Monfils last round. Roger is barely a top 10 player anymore in my eyes.

stan has looked phenomenal. 1 thing is for sure in my mind.... Stan wins against EITHER nishi or tsonga next round. tsonga will get crushed on the backhand side and nishi won't be able to exploit any weaknesses in stan's game.

I actually agree that when in the zone, stan has overtaken roger as THE premier attacking player & a great advert for the modern game. Combo of free 1st serve pts & heavy groundies/winners. Novak is relentlessly THE best defensive unit & overall gun however. Just wish he'd quit the injury/exhaustion feigning crap.

When Stans on, don't bet against him. He looks great this tournament, should beat Tsonga fairly easy imo
