Lisicki certainly capable of taking down Serena, and not by getting lucky, but by actually beating her. No one is going to beat Serena when she's at her best, but someone like Lisicki could take advantage of a lesser effort.

Sabine has been playing exceptionally well for a nice run of matches.
She is not error prone right now. She's loose. Her serve is a weapon.
Of course it's difficult to make the case that a 5/1 underdog will win.
Serena did have an injury, who knows, perhaps she isn't 100%.
Of all the matches today, large favorites, the only dog I'm willing to bet
on is Lisicki. I will probably parlay Murray, Berdy and Halep to cover the
Sabine bet. See no reason why any of them will lose.

agreed. Halep will be rested. If she was going to lose in Miami (barring finals, where
anyone can lose), it would have been vs Pennetta. There isn't much Stephens can do
that Halep can't do better and more consistently.

Did you see how good Halep was against Pennetta, who was herself playing on another level than Stephens already?

Stephens did impress against Bencic, and she might be able to steal a set if Halep has one of her down-periods, but that should be it at most.

Halep was highly motivated against Pennetta and Flavia was bad. Shed never beaten her before but now she's a much better player, that's happened a lot this month in certain matches. Don't readsee value at more than 2/1 while Sloane playing well.
