I hate betting on Birdman as he seems consistently overrated, however, I thought he showed a rare display of gumption by coming back when down to Tomic whereas Monfils struggled quite a bit vs a somewhat hobbled Tsonga. H2H doesn't hurt and Birdman seems to like this tourney. That said, I haven't watched either of these 2 play yet.

No opinion on Thiem whatsoever but I already tried fading Mannarino once and won't be doing it again at this junction.

In case you don't read my thread, I would advise against Venus as favorite. She is the underdog IMO.
