Lisicki was due to start winning some matches. She was 2-0 against Errani on hard courts coming in. The court wasn't slow enough for Errani's weakest serve in the world tonight.
This court being slow favoring counter punchers is overrated. Ferrer and Errani lost pretty routinely tonight to players you would think would like the conditions faster.
Truth be told you still have to serve well regardless and Tomic and Lisicki have the much better serves.Comment -

Errani has been playing a ton of tennis at highest level through multiple court types
and rain delays, far from home, she was due for a relatively early exit.
She probably needs to recharge her batteries.. esp with the type of exertion
her small body demands to be competitive.
