#42You know this comment is not advised. What if his roll is 100K? What if 8000$ is 80$ to most. That's a massive sum to most including myself, but it Dosnt make him him an idiot. I personally keep forgetting that Raonic blows a lot of leads. I wonder what the no tiebreaker would be set at with a Raonic match? @3.00? Anyways, get it back at the Masters1000 biggie.Originally posted by waste1btw. no offense but betting 8k on this game is the most stupid thing ive wittnesed in this forum. and here are a lot of donks underway. but the idiots run lucky i guessComment -

Soeda in all honesty should give Pospisil a tougher time, although Pospisil should not lose this. It may go at least four sets though. Ito just doesn't handle the surface well.Comment -

if his roll is 100k a 8k bet still would be a huge bet. and i wouldnt place it on a coinflip where we not getting even odds. thats how the bookies make their money. sure it doesnt make him an idiot but also not a clever man.
this was obv. a tough beat for biggie and i hope he wins more backComment -

It was about 38% of my winnings from 2015 so far. I'm still up 20k
I'll keep saying it u can't get ahead without taking shots. Even betting 1000 a game its hard to beat the books. I make around 20-50k a year and I've been using the same bankroll 50k~ the last 4 years. U guys try betting 1% of your bankroll for every stake u will never get ahead of the gameComment -

#50the deciding match will be an obvious anti-climax...two challenger-level guys after today's battle between two top-ten-in-world guys...one ultra-talented road runner vs. a surprisingly mobile full-skill-set serving-bot...kudos to nishi, but hard to get jazzed by the deciding match he set up for us
i'm never going to bet a nishikori match again without checking to see who matt's on...was sure he'd get beat by robredo a while back due to fatigue (funniest thread ever--kept waiting for the massive lactic acid attack to melt nishi's legs...never came)...today it was the speed-of-surface that supposedly doomed him...when the match is important the jap energizer bunny seldom will lose to anyone ranked below himComment -

Yeah your right, that's for sure. When I was up to 46k in my account. I played mainly 500$ wagers... But I unloaded 5000k on certain matches to get ahead. Good luck moving forward biggieComment -

#52Thats true. It doesn't matter how small is your bankroll. Even if you have 50$ and make 0.50$, even a great day will give you like 5$, the next day you lose 5, then you spend a week or a month and you are break-even. Find the value, bet big. When I had 100$ in my account I played always between 1-10, according to my confidence. It is worth the risk if you know things and are watching games. #53Can't agree with this at all...What happens when you lose that 10-20unit bet though??? I understand with biggie's case he figures he's playing with 'house' money anyway, but for the rest of us trying to scrape 5-10% yield/mth surely its better to minimise the variance & just gradually increase the unit size as the BR grows.Originally posted by juanquinteroThats true.
