Hello friends. I was wondering if anyone out there noticed anything injury or conditioning wise with Big John in Memphis this past week?

I was personally thinking that the lack of respect Isner got from the linesmakers had more to do with a slight look-ahead to his hometown Delray tournament, which he has done well at historically, making the semis the last 3 years. I don't know what the odds are yet, but the 3-0 h2h vs Matos on Tuesday night looks inviting.

I'll also be in attendance and am willing to exhibit poor etiquette and cheer on my poney at an obscene volume if need be.

Possible drunkenly large wager forthcoming.

Isner looked good against Querrey despite the loss. Hardly missed a 1st serve and when he did, he threw down bombs with his 2nd serve. Didnt face a single break point but tiebreaks are always a bit unpredictable especially when you have two players just throwing down aces.

I will accuse him of it. Maybe not looking forward, but I have to think that in the back of his mind the certainty/consolation of playing in front of a more supportive crowd in his home-state was there.

Glad to hear. Thought it was a pretty even matchup, all things considered. I have to imagine the surface in Delray is faster too, should only help Isner on Tues.

Play some futures, take longshots and you'll feel good. Top seeds don't traditionally make it to the end at Delray. Isner makes the semis every year, but nothing more usually. Anderson is a better bet usually, his home tournament.

Looking quick at the draw, Isner has a tough road.
