What do we think about this tonight? Serena has been playing great, but I feel like she could be due for a slow start. Tempted to take Flavia 1st set.

2008 redux? not sure man. pennetta has gotten help from her opponents it would seem - 1st serve % was 46 against gibbs, and she STILL won 6-4 6-0, Dellacqua had 8 double faults and 35 ue's. kanepi converted all the breaks points she saw - albeit was only 2 - and only had 13 ue's and got the routine from serena. the spread, total, and ml's (all i have available) all lack value for this one imo.

its funny. actually both gibbs & deellacqua had 8 double faults, and 34/35 ue's. serena will not have 8 double faults or 30+ ue's, can you wager that? lol

Dellaqua was horse shit vs Pennetta. She was out of shape. I think Penetta is more worried about the doubles title at this point. Serena should roll now

hopefully she can win a set

i think Flavia will show up nicely tonight
she's going to have an adapted game plan and not try to overpower Serena
which she can't do. But there are still things she can do and if
Serena is in any way off it could be a better match than anticipated.
