Robredo has to be on top of the tanking list. From what I've read, the guy never wins more than one match a week before the USO. But will he tank today?

On the women's side, Kvitova needs some court time (especially in comparison to her opponent).

Thanks, Matt. I've never been one to fade players based on motivation (cause it's closer to mind reading than capping) but the Robredo thing seems solid. If not today, then the next match. Robredo loves the USO, just loves it and I doubt he would do anything to risk his chances of a nice, deep run there, especially with 3 of the big 4 struggling (or not there). Also recall what he did to Fed last year; which should give him confidence this year (should he end up on his side of the draw).

When Steve isn't on the court this tourney he should be asking any and all takers to play tie-breaks with him. He could use some tie-break confidence. Maybe a 70 year old lady is available. It would help his mental game to whip he 7-0 in a tie break.
