no need to explain to me sno...you, sirty, eagle, kenz among the most straight-up dudes on the entire board...i had your back there...
you reducing your garcia position a bit now? due to the interruption bugaboo i bet
me, i'm on garcia and garcia, 2-1 (at +350, trailing HC..we just missed on Errani, 2-1 yesterday and this one's shaping up like another 3-setter)
garcia starting to come into her own lately...i expect her, along with mugu and keys and bouchard to rule the WTA roost in the not too distant future...throw in backsy and bencic and there'll be lots of tourneys and slams by this next wave

Tally +2.43
see a lot of potential dog winners in qualifiers at women's Indian Wells, but
it's impossible to say which of the dogs will win. So I might sit today out on tennis.

Duckworth .23/.2
Elias .21/.2
I'm going to fade Donaldson vs Duckworth. Duckworth has played more competitive
tournaments and has a lot more experience, and there's no reason to fade his form.
Fratangelo is a borderline amateur who is likely to be aggravated into errors by the
consistent pusher Elias. If these two go 1/1, no harm done. If they both lose, well,
take my $.

well that was rly just an entertainment bet.. Monica was very nervous and didn't
have ber backhand accuracy going at all.. Gabriela started slow but then just
plowed right through.. gaining power and confidence as she went on. Not bad
for a woman who hadn't picked up a racquet in 6 years.. she retired too early at 26.
Not sure about Monica but at 44 Gabriela Sabatini looks like she could still win some
matches on tour if she rly wanted to.
adding Krunic. I know she hasn't appeared to be in the best form lately but I am willing
to bet that she'll be up for this one. Her style matches up well against Niculescu, as long
as she doesn't let Niculescu dictate where the rallies go. btw I round up the decimals from half
above so .135 is .14 like it was with Seles and is with Krunic.
Beg my pardon
It is not so important but i am trying to understand your odds
they look like fractional odds , i tried in many ways, made them the other way, but they didnt make any sense. I looked for somewhere in the beginning of this thread there s an explantion, but nope,
just a curiosity.

in the beginning of the thread i kept track of my wagers like most do, just by the odds, for example
player A at -120 was 120 to win 100, or player A at +200 was 100 to win 200. The results were that
the outcome was improperly skewed to appear not anywhere near as good as I was doing, because it
treated all bets as the same amount, no matter if a long parlay or a one-shot side. So that had to go.
Bets became decimalized because it is an accurate presentation of reality.. it's all there on the climb
I made up to around +14.00s and then down when the season ended, albeit still positive, I have been
near breakeven or down only a couple times .. just a few weeks ago I was down to .20-.40 area so
I am up over 500% in the last few weeks.
My unit is .01....... that way if I want to make a small bet on a long parlay or a small live bet, etc,
I can present it.. say the tally was +.8 well i can make 4 bets of .2 off that. The fractional amount
of the wager to the tally is the bet size. If you tail for instance, you would start with the Tally and bet
the amount per wager, making it easier, and the decimalization allows for greater flexibility in wager
stlyes for example I can bet .05 on a longshot or bet up to the full tally amount if I want to go all-in.
This way there is precision without ridiculousness, it is a direct representation of what I do, although
I do not often (there have been times) feel legally comfortable posting dollar amounts or sportsbook slips
online. It doesn't matter anyway because if a bet is observedly 10% of your bankroll, then that's what it is
whether you have a $10k or a $10 bankroll, it is still a measure of performance.
the odds of each wager are reflected in the bet amount/win amount. .1/.1 is +100.
i use an online parlay calculator, and round up/down each .01 on the .005 break point.

amount risked/amount targeted...
where "amount" may be considered as units, if you wish...but the important thing to determine the odds of the play is to simply consider the two numbers relative to one another...
such that for quoted "A/B"...you calculate euro-odds = (B divided by A) plus 1
so Jovanovski .12/.19 means risking .12 to win .19...so odds = 2.5833= (.19/.12)+1
________
edit: was trying to save you the trouble sno...seems we were typing at the same time

yup,
edit: was trying to save you the trouble sno...seems we were typing at the same time
yes. she just won. i bet her 2 days ago. she was in the +150s when i took her.
i have to round up over the .005 line and down under the .005 line, or it would
get too micro.
