geez.. i have never been this bad. just writing it off as start of the season
strangeness... not going to change the way i do things when i know this
is only due to the various factors. really don't like the time zone issues.

just that Woz will be motivated, as it is not only the trophy match but she is 0-5 vs Venus.
Strange as that may sound.. a loss to her last Feb in Dubai, before Venus went downhill and
Woz went uphill.. other than that all the matches are old, 3 in 2007 and one in 2008. (Woz
a 17 yr old).

dissapointed in woz.. after such a great start. and i should have hedged earlier..
good thing the under hit, minimize the damage. venus looks the steadiest she's
been in a while to play at this level.. but you never know how long that will last.

well guys Raonic lost 1st set tb then won the next 2 set tb's..
so little separates him and Nish. Fed no problem. Have Fed at -110
odds to win the trophy as posted days ago. Schmiedlova went down in a
3rd set tb 6-8 to Nicole Gibbs. Dissapointed but watch out for this young
American Nicole Gibbs, she has been playing very bright. but I won't back
her today vs Pironkova in an advanced round, because the fact Pironkova
is there means she is playing well and could have too much power for Gibbs.
Sharapova rallied back. Hingis/Lisicki won also. I
really needed these and they delivered. I haven't been
doing as well with the lesser matches, part of this is time zone issues
and lack of being able to watch qualies. Many matches I was going to take
but didn't ended up winning (McGee, Harrison, Jarry, others) while the ones
I did failed. I know ppl are looking fw to Aussie Open but really I just want
Europe/Latin America/North America action where I can get a better feel for
what's going on the courts. And I don't have to worry about the players as much
adapting to the weather change. Therefore besides Federer I am all done with tennis until
after the FBS Championship. I will likely be conservative with the Aussie Open
and try to walk the tally up to around 5 with less overall activity.

I probably won't haven't any action until the Australian Open but being conservative there _ I don't think I will I'm trying to gauge players myself and sometimes I just have to rely on the stats - I look forward to another week where I can observe and look at stats prior to the Australian Open.
