I think their positions have changed this year....Nishikori has been playing better tennis this year, and Gasquet not....

Previous H2H means almost like nothing. On the contrary, it's not easy to keep winning one opponent who is your level player.

Their winnings in first 2 rounds also mean so less, especially for Gasquet as he can kill off less talented players with ease and then lose with the same ease against stronger power.
